wow, is this a find! pro tip: if you're not local to the area but flying in or out of the redmond airport, make this an intentional stop. amazing salsa and tiny corn tortillas come to the table and the menu choices allow for carnivores, vegetarians and pescatarians (probably vegans, too?) to delight in the various options. i went with the ahi crudo tostadas and they were fresh, flavorful and didn't skimp on quality or quantity. service was great and it wasn't insanely crowded but i could see where this place could easily get so at prime hours. some tables were full and when we'd finally finished and were getting ready to leave there were still people there eat n fly ch at close to 3pm. this place spoiled me in terms of setting the bar high for future visits to the area and i'll always make it a point to eat here whether right after i arrive or right before i head to the airport to fly out. comida bastante rica con buen servicio.

Always great to have good friends take you out and turn you on to some outrageously tasty latin food. Walking in, this is a regular spot for our friends as they were recognized and warmly welcomed. The restaurant decor is simple and unpretentious. We were sat down and our server quickly brought over homemade green tortillas with salsa. First taste was a thumbs up! The restaurant is owned by the Medina family and they own two restaurants in the area. All of the family made us feel so welcome. Our friends let us decide what to order but they went ahead and ordered the shrimp ceviche for an appetizer. So sorry I forgot to take a picture but this was easily the best shrimp ceviche I have ever enjoyed. Flavor was on point and the shrimp so fresh. Our server was so helpful and guided us on our selections. My husband selected a house specialty - the Torto Ahogado. This is a traditional plate from Guadalajara which includes sourdough bread stuffed with refried beans and your choice of carnitas or pork belly drenched in a delicious special salsa made of dried chiles and tomato with red onion and lime. A little on the spicy side! I went with the Tacos De Chicharron de Pescado - Fried Halibut tacos with pico de Gallo, avocado, lemon and chipotle aioli. WOWSA! This food was absolutely outstanding in every way. Juicy and flavorful was the fish and delicate to bite. We could not believe how incredible our dinner was coming from this little tiny town in Oregon. My husband was blown away and he really could not get enough of his dish. Talk about authentic! Our experience here was well above five stars including the food and service. I still think about our meal here and long to return in the future. **NOTE: In October 2023, this restaurant was voted the top sixth taco spot in the US on Yelps Top 100. Yes! It is truly that good.

The food was so flavorful!! Let's start with the homemade corn tortillas. They bring a few out with some salsa to start. We ordered a Paloma and a Cadillac Margarita that were both tasty. We ordered the Grilled Pulpo (octopus) with garlic and olive oil. This was so tender you could cut it with your fork! Delicioso'! Hubby ordered the chicharones which was all him. I don't like fried pork skins. Hubbs ordered the Seafood stuffed Chile Relleno in a chipotle cream sauce. He says it was very tasty. It only came with one so it's a good thing we had appetizers. It comes with black beans and white rice. A bit in the bland side. I ordered the Carne Asada Alambres which was literally fork tender and came with homemade corn tortillas or flour which are not homemade. I went with the homemade delicious corn tortillas. Also served with a side of refried beans, Spanish rice, guacamole and sour cream. Definitely a great find while camping out in the area.

We had a planned visit to our dermatologist and finished up around dinner time. Instead of hitting a food cart , Yelp helped me out. I found Xalisco Latin Cuisine. Instead of the usual salsa and chips, they bring you several small green in house made tortillas with in house made salsa. Very tasty. My wife had Percheron Burrito. It comes with a variety of fresh vegetables , rice and black beans. The burrito was the size of a rolling pin. Besides being huge, it was delicious. Only half was eaten. I had the Carnitas Puerco. A nice size plate of perfectly cooked chunks of pork with rice , refried beans, guacamole, and your choice of house made flour or corn tortillas. We asked about the refried beans. They were different than any that I had before. They are Peruvian. Made with onions, oil, and water and mashed into a velvety side dish. Hands down, this is the best restaurant in Redmond. Looking forward to many more meals here.

Where do I start?!? First off, it's appears to be this small family owned joint that once walking in, the aromas are overwhelming!!! The music is a perfect volume, we got there before it got busy and were sat quickly, greeted with water, fresh pressed tortillas and salsa and recommendations. Another family member tried the Spicy Arrachatea Steak, asked for it medium. It was a beautifully cut flank looking, thin and all, and it was cooked to PERFECTION!! My mom got the Chicken Quesadilla, as she is a light eater and it was STACKED!! I went with the Mole Pipian. First thought wa so was getting a traditional Mole'. It even describes it in the menu being made with different ingredients. I couldn't stop eating it!!! I wanted to lick the plate clean!!! On the radar for next time is the Queso Fundida and the Al Pastor on a spit which is lit on fire tableside. Think crème brûlée, but pork, pineapple and an onion on a mini spit set on fire at your table... YUP, you know it!!! Be aware when paying with Debit or Credit, there is a sign on your table that they add a 3.5% service charge for these cards. Cost of business for a very small joint which I'm happy to pay for. Bring a few extra % for the tip jar for the kitchen!! I'd honestly put my 15 of 20% in the chefs jar because of the on-point expertise of the kitchen

Absolutely outstanding food. I am a big fan of Carne Asada and it's wonderful here, whole pieces sliced thin and a little pink. Love their tacos. We have not been for lunch and dinner, one time with and without kids. The service is very friendly. Great drinks. The food was even better I expected when I walked in, it's a simple setup with an open kitchen. On our short list of favorites and well worth the drive from Bend.

I wish we had more time to sample the entire menu! Excellent restaurant with positive vibes. I love that instead of chips they bring out fresh corn tortillas and salsa. We enjoyed the Xalisco margaritas, Mezcal Margaritas, carnitas plate, Chillequilles Rojo and chicken tenders for the little. Great spot, can't wait to head back to sample the shrimp tacos. Update: I went back for the Octopus tacos and highly recommend!

Simple, clean 10-12 table restaurant with great food right off 97 on the road to Redmond airport. I ended up here because the flight I was picking up friends from got diverted due to fog. I decided to grab a bite and wait it out for a bit here and was very glad I did. They have reasonably good hours as well as a lot of places in Redmond seem to close at 8pm and they closed this weekday night day at 9pm. I'll be back.
